The Department of Risk Management and Safety offers online safety training courses to faculty, staff and students at UNLV. Online training allows RMS to reach a larger number of employees in a more efficient and timely manner. We currently offer 26 courses in the two different formats described below.

RMS Website

RMS offers a handful of online classes that do not require a user name or password. To complete this training, please click below on the course you would like to complete. Although a quiz is not administered at the conclusion of these courses, you are still responsible for the content. Therefore, in order to receive credit for each course, please complete the Acknowledgement Form located at the end of each course and press Send.

WebCT Vista

RMS currently utilizes the WebCT Vista platform to conduct the majority of online safety training. You will need a user name and password to access this training. At the conclusion of these courses, the user is required to complete a quiz to verify completion of training.

If you do not have a user name and password for online safety training, please contact Ben Fausett at 895-4861 or email Ben Fausett.
