Cart Safety

The Cart Safety Program is a campus-wide safety initiative designed to inform all cart drivers of the responsibilities and safe operation of utility vehicles.

As part of the Cart Safety Program, each employee who may drive a cart needs to be trained. New employees receive this training during initial safety training. Other employees and students need to arrange training with the Safety Training Officer.

Retraining is no longer required unless an accident or unsafe incident occurs.
