Bloodborne Pathogens

In 29 CFR 1910.1030, OSHA requires that UNLV establish and maintain a Bloodborne Pathogens Exposure Control Plan to protect employees from the risk of occupational exposure to blood or other potentially infectious material.

As part of this plan, UNLV is required to provide annual training, Hepatitis B vaccinations, and medical evaluations, when warranted.
