Holding responsibility over radiation-producing devices and materials on campus, the Radiation Safety Office provides authorization to users needing to work with radiation while working to keep them safe.

While most courses are available during new employee training and in-person, additional courses are offered on a regular basis through classrooms or at any time online.

If you have waste that needs to be removed from an on-campus location or other UNLV property, please complete a copy of the form below. Remember when making your request to plan ahead and allow three working days for the disposal to be completed. Ensure that all labeling and marking is properly completed and easily visible, and that the the waste is in an accessible location. If you work in a secure area, please make note of this in the comments field and indicate any pertinent special instructions.
