Standard Operating Procedures

Standard Operating Procedures (SOPS) are important elements to a comprehensive laboratory safety program. The SOPs on this page are designed to be filled in by Principle Investigators for different types of hazardous laboratories. The SOPs, when completed, should be reviewed and signed by all laboratory staff then inserted into the laboratory's biosafety program manual. A copy of all completed SOPs should also be forwarded to the UNLV Biosafety/Chemical Hygiene Officer for review.
